Since 1995, Paul Johnson, Tami Mulick, along with their children Alice and Rick, have graciously welcomed guests to the inviting haven of Gull Cove. This picturesque location holds a special place in their hearts as their home, as they extend a warm invitation for you to experience its charm during your visit.

Rick, an experienced captain, takes the helm of the Yakobi with expertise. Apart from managing the boat and providing fishing guidance, he skillfully prepares the day's fresh catch for you to take home. With a wealth of knowledge about marine life, Rick ensures an enriching experience as he guides you on daily excursions - from bear and whale watching to invigorating nature hikes and captivating explorations of Glacier Bay.

Alice is not only the lodge manager but also the pre/post-departure assistant dedicated to facilitating your seamless arrival and departure experience. Collaborating with you before your journey, she takes the time to tailor your adventure to meet your expectations and guarantees a smooth transition back home. Additionally, as the esteemed head chef at the renowned Alice’s Restaurant, she takes pride in preparing and serving delicious home-cooked meals daily, ensuring your culinary experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Tami is the apart of the land operation, she maintains the garden and helps prepare the gourmet food in the kitchen.

Tami plays a crucial role in the land operation at Gull Cove Lodge. Her responsibilities include tending to the garden with care and assisting in the preparation of gourmet dishes in the kitchen, showcasing her dedication to maintaining the lodge's natural beauty and culinary excellence.

Paul has been serving as a guide for expeditions across the Glacier Bay region and the surrounding Chichagof and Yakobi Islands for over five decades, marking his debut in 1974. Renowned for his deep-rooted understanding of the terrain, Paul meticulously curates each journey to ensure that his guests bask in the rich essence of these waterways. Through captivating narratives, he vividly paints a picture of the area's historical significance, diverse wildlife, and vibrant culture. Tami's affection for Alaska led her to serendipitously cross paths with Paul, culminating in the establishment of Gull Cove Lodge. Embarking on a shared journey, Tami and Paul laid the physical cornerstone of the lodge, a testament to their enduring commitment to both family and enterprise.
